Riot Bar, produced by Riot Squad is a mesh coil-constructed disposable device 100% entirely produced from bio-plastic. It contains 10 different UK-made flavoured options, available in 10 mg and 20 mg nicotine salt strengths.
Each device contains a 500 mAh lithium battery, and is designed to last up to approximately 600 puffs*.
*Whilst this disposable kit can provide up to 600 puffs, puff counts are approximate and dependent on the length of draws on each use. Significantly lower puff counts are found if longer draws are taken.

Riot Squad have produced a disposable e-cigarette, which can be fully disassembled and recycled.
Carbon negative
The Riot Bar disposable vaping kit's casing is produced entirely from PLA plastic. Polylactic acid, known as PLA, is a thermoplastic monomer created from organic and renewable sources such as corn starch or sugar cane and is 100% recyclable.
Although PLA is known as a plastic material, it is officially classified as 100% bio-sourced plastic and unlike common plastic is not produced using fossil fuels through the distillation and polymerisation of petroleum.
Battery and device expectancy
The Riot Bar, like other common disposable vaping devices, is manufactured and produced in line with the required TPD regulations, concerning e-liquid capacity.
Containing an in-built 500 mAh lithium battery and 2 ml of nic-salt e-liquid, the device is rated to deliver up to approximately 600 puffs before being recycled.
If the Riot Bar is responsibly recycled through their recycling scheme, the 500 mAh battery will be reused in the future production of Riot Bars, reducing the carbon footprint of lithium batteries within disposable Riot Bar devices.
The world's most recyclable e-cigarette
Riot Squad have set up, and put into place, the first UK disposable e-cigarette recycling scheme. The scheme brings together Riot with major retailers like Vape UK, waste management companies and recyclers with the shared aim of creating a wider spread network required to increase the number of disposable e-cigarettes being recycled in the UK.

The simple process involved Riot Bars being responsibly deposited into Riot recycle bins, which are collected using electric vehicles.
These depleted devices are dismantled into their 3 primary parts (casing, battery and nicotine chamber), and used to produce the following:
- PLA Plastic casing: Made into vinyl records and clothing, to be sold, and proceeds donated to charity.
- Nicotine chamber cartridge: Incinerated, with the energy produced going into the national grid.
- Lithium battery: Reused in future Riot Bar disposable devices, significantly lowering the carbon footprint of the device.
