What are Uwell Vape Coils?
Uwell vape coils are expertly engineered components that power the performance of Uwell’s award-winning vape kits.
Known for their precision build and commitment to flavour, Uwell coils are designed to deliver a clean, consistent vaping experience from the very first puff. Each coil is made using high-quality materials and cutting-edge technology, ensuring that every draw is smooth, satisfying and true to the taste of your e-liquid.
At the core of Uwell’s success is its patented Pro-FOCS flavour technology, which enhances flavour delivery by recycling airflow and ensuring the e-liquid is vapourised evenly.
This innovation enables vapers to savour every note of their chosen e-liquid, while preventing dry hits and extending coil longevity. Whether you prefer the rich depth of dessert flavours or the crispness of menthol blends, Uwell coils bring out the best in every profile.
Uwell Vape Coil FAQs
How long do Uwell vape coils typically last?
Uwell coils generally last between 1 and 2 weeks, depending on your vaping habits, e-liquid choice, and wattage settings. If you notice a burnt taste, weak flavour, or reduced vapour production, it’s time to swap out your coil for a fresh one.
What e-liquid works best with Uwell coils?
Most Uwell coils, including those in the Caliburn and G series, perform best with 50/50 or 60/40 VG/PG e-liquids.
Both nicotine salt and standard freebase e-liquids are acceptable, but very thick, high-VG juices may shorten coil life or lead to flooding. Always refer to the device's user manual for optimal results, especially if you have a sub-ohm device, which will use shortfill e-liquids.
What’s the best way to prime a new Uwell coil?
Priming is essential for coil longevity. Drip a small amount of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton in the coil, then fill your pod or tank and let the coil soak for 5 to 10 minutes before vaping. Take a few gentle draws without firing to help saturate the wicking properly and avoid dry hits.
Why is my Uwell coil leaking or spitting?
Leaks can result from drawing too hard or using unsuitable, thin e-liquids. Spitting may occur if the coil isn’t seated correctly or is flooded.
Use a steady, moderate inhale, avoid overfilling, and check the o-rings and contacts for a proper fit. Replace the coil if the leak persists or the issue doesn’t resolve with cleaning, as a worn coil is the most common culprit.
Can I change my Uwell coil without having to empty the tank or pod?
Many Uwell devices now utilise a press-fit coil system that allows for easy coil swapping with minimal e-liquid loss. For optimal results, it is recommended to replace coils when your tank or pod is nearly empty to prevent messes or spills.
