Freebase nicotine, which is the pure form of nicotine, has distinct characteristics which some people prefer, especially as it is the original form of nicotine that’s been used in e-liquids since vaping was a thing. Because of its chemical structure, it's not as quick to work in the body as its salt nicotine form.

In higher strengths, freebase nicotine can be very harsh, which people tend to dislike. However, in lower strengths, a little kick may be what people look for in their vape.

Direct-to-Lung Preference

Freebase nicotine works well when there’s enough power in the vape kit to vaporise it effectively. Essentially, freebase nicotine is mainly preferable for high-wattage vaping.
