Your parcel's journey

Your parcel is collected from Vape UK
Delivery to you
You will be given a one-hour delivery window within which the driver is expected to deliver.
Email communication
Order confirmation email
This is sent to you from Vape UK immediately after your order is placed.

Shipping confirmation email
This is sent to you from Vape UK at roughly 23.30 once your order has been collected by DPD.
The email’s subject line is ‘A shipment from order #XXX is on the way’, and it contains the unique number with which to track your parcel.

"We’re expecting your Vape UK parcel"
This is the first email you will receive directly from DPD; however the sender will show in your inbox as Vape UK.
Depending on when you place your order, this email may be sent to you before our shipping confirmation email (above).
The email contains a ‘Show my options’ link for you to choose a safe place, delivery to a neighbour, or collection from a DPD Local Pickup point.

"We'll deliver your Vape UK parcel to..."
If you’ve already selected DPD Local Pickup as your chosen shipping method at our checkout, then this email will confirm your collection point.

"Your Vape UK order will be delivered today"
You will receive this email from DPD by 10.00 on the day of your delivery, confirming their expected one-hour time slot.
Again, this email will appear in your inbox as though it has been sent by Vape UK.
The email contains another ‘Show my options’ link for you to choose a safe place, delivery to a neighbour, or collection from a DPD Local Pickup point.

"Great news, your Vape UK parcel has been delivered"
You will receive this email from DPD confirming that they’ve successfully delivered your parcel.
Again, this email will appear in your inbox as though it has been sent by Vape UK.
The email contains a ‘Show me’ link, which will take you to the tracking area of their website so you can see the proof of delivery.

"Your Vape UK parcel is ready for you to collect"
If you’ve chosen to collect your order, you will receive this email confirming that they’ve successfully delivered your parcel to your preferred DPD Pickup location.
Again, this email will appear in your inbox as though it has been sent by Vape UK.
The email contains your ‘PICKUP PASS’, which is the QR code you’ll need to show the staff when you go to collect.

SMS communication
You will be updated with a text message (unless you have the DPD app setup for notifications) directly from DPD on the day of delivery. The content of this message depends on where your order is being delivered to.
Delivery time
This text provides you with your one-hour delivery slot, and a link to options if you’re not going to be in at the time they expect delivery to be made.

Collection time
If you’ve chosen Local Pickup, you will receive this text once your order has been delivered to your pickup point and is ready to collect.

Push notifications
Real-time updates!
If you have the DPD app (which we highly recommend), you will receive notifications in real time directly to your phone.

Be more informed
These will mirror DPD’s email communications, and replace their SMS communication.
You will also receive additional notifications regarding your driver’s status while your delivery is underway.

Tracking your order using your web browser
Click the link
DPDs email and SMS communications include unique tracking links to their website where you can check details of the parcel's journey to you.
NB: the easiest way to track your order is through the DPD app (here), where you can do everything you’re able to on the website, but you’ll also receive push notifications if desired.

"We’ve received your order details"

"Your parcel has arrived at our depot"

"Your parcel has been delivered"

"Your parcel has been collected"

Tracking your order in the DPD app
Get the app
The easiest way to track your orders, or divert your parcel to your chosen safe place, neighbour, or local collection point, is by using the DPD app.
Once the app is downloaded to your device, you can get to it easily by clicking the notifications that DPD push to you.

"We’ve received your order details"

"Your parcel has arrived at our depot"

"Your Vape UK order will be delivered today"

"If you’re not in"

"Your parcel is waiting for you"

Track with us
Signing up to the DPD app couldn’t be simpler, and it enables you to stay up to date about your orders, and customise your delivery preferences.

My address
Once you’ve set up your account profile, you’ll be asked to enter any and all addresses that you might use. One of these will be set as your default delivery address, and all addresses can be labelled for quick identification.

Pinpoint
You can also customise further, to ensure that your DPD driver will have no issues finding you. You can move the map to pinpoint your exact location; enter your What3Words associated with the address; add notes or photos to help your driver; and even request extra time to get to the door if required.

Neighbour
There is a slider if you’re happy for your parcel to be delivered to any of your neighbours. Otherwise, you can select one neighbour that you do (or do not) wish the driver to leave your order with.

Leave safe
If you are not available to sign for your parcel, DPD will leave it in your desired safe place.
Select from a variety of common options, or select ‘OTHER SAFE PLACE’ if you have a particular preference.
A photo of your safe place can also be uploaded for extra peace of mind.

Pickup Point
There is a slider if you want DPD to simply allocate the nearest Pickup Point to your default shipping address.
Otherwise, you can choose from hundreds of locations on their interactive map.

Final step
Once you have made your way through all the screens, and customised all of your delivery options, you will reach the final step.
At this stage you have a simple choice as to whether you’d prefer DPD’s first delivery attempt to go to your delivery address, or straight to your chosen Pickup Point.

You're all set!
All your choices will be saved. Don’t worry though - you can always make changes later, if and when needed.
