Tracking your order in the DPD app

Get the app

The easiest way to track your orders, or divert your parcel to your chosen safe place, neighbour, or local collection point, is by using the DPD app.

Once the app is downloaded to your device, you can get to it easily by clicking the notifications that DPD push to you.

Track with us

Signing up to the DPD app couldn’t be simpler, and it enables you to stay up to date about your orders, and customise your delivery preferences.

Track with us on the DPD app

My address

Once you’ve set up your account profile, you’ll be asked to enter any and all addresses that you might use. One of these will be set as your default delivery address, and all addresses can be labelled for quick identification.

Image showing account setup in the DPD app

Pinpoint

You can also customise further, to ensure that your DPD driver will have no issues finding you. You can move the map to pinpoint your exact location; enter your What3Words associated with the address; add notes or photos to help your driver; and even request extra time to get to the door if required.

Image showing account setup in the DPD app

Neighbour

There is a slider if you’re happy for your parcel to be delivered to any of your neighbours. Otherwise, you can select one neighbour that you do (or do not) wish the driver to leave your order with.

Image showing account setup in the DPD app

Leave safe

If you are not available to sign for your parcel, DPD will leave it in your desired safe place.

Select from a variety of common options, or select ‘OTHER SAFE PLACE’ if you have a particular preference.

A photo of your safe place can also be uploaded for extra peace of mind.

Image showing account setup in the DPD app

Pickup Point

There is a slider if you want DPD to simply allocate the nearest Pickup Point to your default shipping address.

Otherwise, you can choose from hundreds of locations on their interactive map.

Final step

Once you have made your way through all the screens, and customised all of your delivery options, you will reach the final step.

At this stage you have a simple choice as to whether you’d prefer DPD’s first delivery attempt to go to your delivery address, or straight to your chosen Pickup Point.

You're all set!

All your choices will be saved. Don’t worry though - you can always make changes later, if and when needed.
